I recently got my GPU, a GeForce 5060Ti, back from repairs, where they fixed a component that previously caused my peripherals to fail. However, after reconnecting it, my PC crashes within a minute and then reboots. I was advised to use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and reinstall the drivers, but it crashes again. I even did a clean Windows install which worked fine until I attempted to download the NVIDIA drivers again, resulting in another endless reboot. After a second clean install, my screen turned black after showing the Windows home screen. Currently, the PC runs only when I unplug the GPU. I've switched PCIe slots, but that didn't help either. I also tried installing AMD's adrenaline drivers, and that crashed my PC too, but I'm not sure if that's purely GPU-related. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? My setup includes an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X CPU and a Gigabyte B850 Eagle Wifi6e motherboard.

It sounds like the GPU might still be faulty. If it crashes consistently when connected, it’s likely something else is still broken. I’d suggest asking for a replacement since it’s not functioning properly now.
Did you have your monitor connected to the motherboard during the GPU repair? Sometimes, if the integrated graphics were stable, it could hint at the GPU being the issue. Did you experience any crashes while using that setup?
Not at all! I used my computer without issues up until I reattached the GPU, aside from not being able to game.

Yeah, that’s what I suspected. It works fine when unplugged, but I can’t really do much without it. I'll look into getting a replacement.
