My PC is acting up after reinstalling my SSD—any ideas?

Hey everyone! I'm stuck trying to figure out what's gone wrong with my PC after I removed and reinstalled my SSD. Now, my USB ports aren't functioning, my GPU won't work, and the power button only turns the PC on but won't shut it down. The power supply is working fine, as it's providing power to the system. I've even tried removing the GPU and messing with the CMOS battery, but nothing has changed. Here are the specs: I'm using a GTX 1660 for the GPU, an ASRock B450M/ac motherboard, and a 750-watt power supply. Any advice would really help!

Interesting situation! Why did you take out your SSD in the first place? Did you just replace it or were you upgrading? It's always good to know the background before diagnosing the issue.

It sounds to me like the RAM could be the culprit. When the PC powers on but nothing else works, reseating your RAM sticks could help. If you have multiple sticks, try using them one at a time to see if one might be faulty.

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried both of my RAM sticks, but unfortunately, it didn’t change anything. I even removed both of them, and still no luck. I'm really confused about what went wrong.
