Hey everyone, I'm reaching out because my PC is in a dire situation, and I'm currently typing this on my phone. It all started about a week ago with random blue screens. I built my PC on July 5th, so this is the first time I've encountered such problems, and initially, I didn't think much of it. But it has progressively gotten worse—now I'm experiencing crashes with some games, too. I've tried resetting my PC, updating drivers, and even reinstalling Windows via a bootable USB, but I keep hitting dead ends. The reset process always bluescreens halfway through, and setting up Windows from the USB leads me to an error about starting the setup. This morning was the worst—my taskbar is non-functional, and the Windows button doesn't work. The only things I can access are my desktop shortcuts and settings by right-clicking on my wallpaper. I really don't know what to do, and I could use some guidance!

Based on what you shared, this seems like a serious hardware or OS issue. Try booting into Safe Mode by holding Shift and clicking 'Restart.' Once there, answer a few questions to help us figure it out: 1) What error messages do you see on the blue screen? 2) What are your specs? 3) Did you install any new hardware or software before these issues started? 4) Does Safe Mode work without crashes?
It could be helpful to get your dump files analyzed to understand what's causing the BSOD. If you can boot into Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for crash logs. You can zip them and share them on a file-hosting site. It gives us a clearer picture of the issue for troubleshooting!
Since your PC is still under warranty (if you bought it from a reputable store), I suggest contacting them for support. It might be easier than trying to troubleshoot further yourself.
First off, can you tell me what brand and specs your PC is? That could help pinpoint the issue. Also, if the crashes started after a specific hardware or software change, let us know—it could be a clue!
I built it myself! Here are my specs: Gigabyte Aorus Master i9 5090, Ryzen 7 9800x3d, Samsung 9100 Pro 4TB SSD, Lian Li Edge 1300W, Gigabyte X870E Aorus Pro, and G.Skill Trident Neo RGB 4x16GB 6000MT/s.
Absolutely, just reach out to the store! They should handle all the issues for you. It's better than tinkering with it like this.
