I've had my PC for about 5 years, and lately it's been incredibly slow. My games are stuttering, and it takes around 10-15 minutes just to restart. I've tried adjusting some settings before, but nothing seems to help. Here are my specs: GTX 1650, i5 10400F, 16GB RAM 2666Hz, and a 1TB HDD. What can I do to fix this?

Honestly, gaming on an HDD is tough. That slow HDD is likely bottlenecking your whole system. If it's failing, that's probably why you're seeing these issues.
Clone your HDD to an SSD as soon as you can. You're really stuck in slow gear with that HDD. But remember, even an old HDD shouldn't take 15 minutes to reboot, so maybe back up your important files ASAP.
I wouldn’t recommend cloning from a failing drive, though. Definitely start backing up important files just in case.
Check your temperatures using something like HWiNFO and see how your hard drive is doing with CrystalDiskInfo. My guess is your HDD might be failing. If that's the case, switching to an SSD could drastically improve your performance anyway.
You should definitely consider upgrading to an SSD. Plus, pruning your startup apps might help with those long reboot times.

I would if I could, but SSD prices are a bit steep right now.
