I'm facing a frustrating issue where my computer is stuck in an automatic repair loop. I've tried various online fixes, but nothing seems to work. When I run an SFC scan, it tells me the process can't be completed, and DISM doesn't cooperate either. The only solution I can think of is using a recovery drive, but the only thumb drive I have is a Rog brand one that's not usable for this purpose. Both the RAM and SSD are fine based on my diagnostics, and I've had this SSD for about two years with no prior problems. Should I just wait to get another thumb drive for recovery, or could this indicate a motherboard issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated—this PC cost around $7,000, and I don't want to leave it collecting dust!

You might want to zero the drive and do a fresh install of Windows. It can be a clean way to resolve these kinds of issues if you're up for it!
It sounds like this could be due to a Windows update messing things up. If you can get to safe mode, try rolling back to an earlier point. But I get that it can be tricky when you're stuck in the automatic repair loop!

Unfortunately, I can’t get past the automatic repair screen, and it tells me I can’t roll back when I try.
