My PC is Stuttering After Driver Update—What Can I Do?

I recently updated my drivers while trying to troubleshoot constant crashes in Fortnite. I also reset my RAM settings to default as I thought that might be part of the problem. Now, my PC stutters every 3-5 seconds regardless of what I'm doing. I've already tried reinstalling the drivers using DDU, but that didn't help. Changing my RAM settings back to what they were before also made no difference. The only thing that temporarily alleviated the issue was rolling back to the previous driver settings. Here are my specs:

- CPU: 9950x3d
- GPU: 9070xt Red Devil
- Motherboard: MSI x870e Godlike
- RAM: Gold (F5-6000J2636H32GX2-TR5NG)
- Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 RGB Pro

I'd love to hear what else I might try to fix this stuttering issue!

Glad you figured it out! I've had endless trouble with my PC right after building it too. For me, it was a mix of driver issues and game crashes. Always road back after updates became my go-to solution.

It's good to hear you found a solution with hardware acceleration! Just a tip for anyone facing similar issues: always create a system restore point before making driver updates. It can save you a lot of headaches if something goes wrong.
