I've been having this annoying issue where my PC keeps asking for a disk check on drive (G). I recently went through one that took ages—about three hours—and even after restarting, it keeps popping up again. What steps can I take to resolve this?

It sounds like this might be a hardware issue. I recommend checking the drive's health using OEM software or third-party tools like CrystalDisk Info. If everything seems fine there, you might want to clear the drive using diskpart and then create a new partition.
