My PC Keeps Shutting Down While Playing Fortnite, What Should I Do?

I'm a competitive Fortnite player, and I've recently upgraded to a new gaming PC with a 5080 graphics card and a 9800x3d processor. However, I've been experiencing some serious issues: during match 3, my PC just turned off, and it happened again during endgames where the game froze and I lost audio from both Fortnite and Discord. It even froze once in a regular match. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

Sounds like your power supply might be at fault here. 1050W should be decent for your setup, but if it’s faulty or not delivering enough consistent power, that can definitely cause shutdowns and freezing. Also, look into your CPU and GPU temperatures during gameplay; if they're too high, it could be overheating. Maybe try running simpler games to see if the problem persists.

First off, make sure you check your power supply. You mentioned having a Montech Century II 1050W, which should be enough, but it's always good to double-check if it's functioning properly. Condensed power under load can cause shutdowns. Also, ensuring your drivers are up-to-date may help with stability issues. Try monitoring your temperatures as well; overheating can lead to performance drops and crashes too.
