I recently installed a borrowed 32 GB RAM from Facebook Marketplace into my PC, but now it won't boot. The fans spin, but the RGB lights aren't lit up. I even tried going back to my old RAM, but I'm still facing the same problem. I've already reset the CMOS and reseated the RAM, but nothing seems to work. Could I have accidentally short-circuited something in my PC?

Have you tried just turning it on and waiting for about half an hour? Sometimes, new RAM can require a bit of time for what's called "RAM training." It might take a little while but is worth a try.
If all else fails, you might want to think about getting a refund for that RAM.
I suggest trying to boot with just one stick of RAM. Also, check the BIOS settings and slightly increase the RAM voltage. Sometimes it’s just a voltage issue that can cause boot failures.
It might be that your processor has died. It's unusual, but if you've already swapped RAM and nothing's changing, could be worth considering.
But it was working fine just days ago... How could it just die like that?

I'll give that a shot!
