My PC Won’t Boot After Thermal Paste Change, Help!

I recently changed the thermal paste on my PC, but now I'm facing some serious issues. Initially, when I powered it on, the fans spun for a moment and then the system shut down completely. After reassembling everything, the PC turned on—RGB lights were lit, fans were running—but the monitor showed 'no signal' and none of the components seemed to initiate. Now it's reverted back to the original problem where it lights up briefly and then shuts off again.

I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including moving the RAM to a different slot, re-seating all the connectors to ensure they're properly plugged in, removing the BIOS battery for a while, carefully re-seating the CPU (all pins look fine), and attempting to boot with just the GPU, RAM, and CPU fan connected. I'm not sure what else to try next.

Have you checked if there are any debug lights on your motherboard? Sometimes they can indicate what the issue is. By the way, removing the CMOS battery while the computer is still plugged in won't clear the CMOS properly. It sounds to me like you might be dealing with a PSU issue or possibly a short somewhere in your setup.

Have you tried using just one stick of RAM? Also, can you tell me what CPU you have? Sometimes, if your CPU has integrated graphics, you could remove the GPU and try booting with that. Make sure to unplug all the additional fans, RGB lights, front panel connections like USB, and any hard drives to minimize the setup. It could help isolate the problem.
