I recently upgraded my system with a new CX650 power supply and an XFX RX 7600 graphics card. Before the installation, I uninstalled the old drivers and set the VRAM to auto since it was previously set to 2GB for my Ryzen 5 5600G. After replacing the CPU thermal paste, I swapped out the PSU and all the cables. However, when I installed the new GPU, the motherboard lights come on, but nothing else powers up. I've tried clearing the CMOS, updating the BIOS, and even going back to the old PSU, but nothing has worked. I've checked the CPU pins and cables multiple times, but I'm stuck. Is there anything else I could look into?

It sounds like you've checked a lot already, but just to be thorough—make sure your GPU is securely seated in the PCIe slot and that the 8-pin PCIe cable is connected tightly. You might also want to test booting with just the integrated graphics from your 5600G. If the system posts with the iGPU, that could indicate an issue with the RX 7600. And don’t forget to verify that no screws or standoffs are creating shorts under the motherboard, plus ensure all power cables are securely attached. Good luck!
Are the lights on your motherboard working? When you press the power button, do the case fans spin up at all? If they're not moving, make sure you didn't accidentally bump the power switch connector on the motherboard. That could be preventing your system from turning on.
