My PC Won’t Start After a Power Outage—What Should I Do?

Hey everyone! I experienced a power outage earlier today while my PC was off, but with the power supply still connected. Now, when I try to boot it up, nothing happens—no lights, no fans, it seems completely dead. All other devices in my home are working just fine, including another computer. I don't have any surge protection in place. I'm hoping for some advice on what my options are. Is there any way to repair this, or is my PC toast? Any tips for getting it to boot again would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like your power supply might have died due to the outage. I had a similar issue once and it turned out to be the PSU. Luckily, it’s pretty affordable and easy to swap out. If you can, try replacing the power supply and see if that helps!

Definitely start by unplugging it. If it's a desktop, hold the power button for around 10 seconds, then plug it back in and try turning it on again. Sometimes that helps reset things after a power glitch!

Check if your power outlet has a blown fuse. Sometimes it's the smallest things that keep us from booting up!

Thanks, I'll look into that!
