I just upgraded from a 750W PSU to a 1050W PSU to support my new 5090 OC GPU, which uses a lot more power. But now my PC won't start. After I connected everything, the fans only spun briefly, a random USB drive lights up, but that's it—no other signs of life. I'm not very experienced with wiring, so I might have made a simple mistake. Any advice?

First off, make sure you didn't mix up the modular cables between the two power supplies. Different models can have different pin arrangements, so that might be causing issues. Can you tell me the specific models of your PSUs?
Don't feel bad about not knowing modular cables! They’re just connectible cables that come with the PSU. It's super important to use the correct cables from the new PSU, especially if they have any special connectors. I’d recommend fully switching to all the cables that came with your new 1050W PSU. That might fix the issue!
