I built my PC in November, and tonight it just shut off while I was gaming. It was running perfectly, but now I'm getting no power at all. No fans are spinning and the motherboard debug lights aren't on. I suspect it might be the power supply since I noticed my GPU wasn't pulling full wattage a couple of days ago. I've already tried unplugging everything, ensuring all connections are snug, and even resetting the CMOS battery. I'm planning to pull the RAM and jump start the PSU tomorrow. Any suggestions on what else I could do? Here are my specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/z3wHh9. By the way, I did the paper clip test, and the PSU fan didn't spin. I'll borrow a tester tomorrow, but I'm leaning towards needing a new PSU.

It sounds like it's probably the PSU. Just make sure it didn’t damage anything else. The best bet is to buy a new PSU, test it, and if it doesn’t work, you can return it or troubleshoot further. And yeah, mine's about 15 years old too; I definitely need an upgrade!
Have you considered that it might be bad airflow causing an overheating issue? But if you’ve been monitoring your temps and they’re in a decent range (60°C for the GPU and 75°C for the CPU), it seems less likely. Still, worth keeping in mind!
Definitely think you should get a better quality power supply. Maybe one that’s not too high-end, but still reliable. It sounds like one of the voltage rails might’ve failed.
I plan on ordering a new one on Friday! Do you have any brands you’d recommend?

I thought about that too, but those temps look okay, right? Just trying to rule out all the possibilities.
