My PC Won’t Turn On – Need Help!

Hey everyone! I've been facing a frustrating issue with my desktop for the past few days. Whenever I press the power button, it just doesn't turn on at all. My motherboard is an Asus TUF B550 Plus, and I can see the RGB lights are on, so I know that the PSU is providing power. Initially, I thought it might be a case issue, but even after trying to start it directly from the motherboard, it still won't work. I took it to the store where I bought it, and they said the problem was a RAM stick that wasn't properly seated. I fixed that, but when I woke up today, the same issue occurred. I've tried unplugging and reseating the RAM individually, but that hasn't worked either. Can anyone help me diagnose this problem?

So, when you hit the power button, absolutely nothing happens? Or does it turn on for a brief moment before shutting off?

Nothing happens at all; it’s like the power button is completely unresponsive.

Since you have lights on, that’s a good sign! Try removing the GPU and connecting your display directly to the motherboard. This will help you see if you can access the BIOS. If it does turn on but shuts down quickly, it could be a cooling issue. Also, make sure all your PSU cables are securely connected to the motherboard and GPU. It might help to check if the screws on your CPU cooler are correctly mounted as well.
