My PC Won’t Turn On – What Should I Do?

I'm having a problem with my PC. It was working perfectly fine last night, but now when I press the power button for a long time, nothing happens. However, I do see the lights on my keyboard and mouse lighting up. I'm not sure what's going wrong or how to troubleshoot it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

First off, try unplugging your PC completely, including all cables. Leave it for about 5 minutes, then plug everything back in tightly and see if that helps. Sometimes a simple reset can fix these issues. And just a heads up, if your mouse and keyboard are lighting up but nothing else is happening, it might be an issue with your monitor or screen not responding.

Yeah, but it's weird that the PC is silent too. Might be dead.

Have you checked if the power supply unit is functioning? You could try to open up your case and see if it's running. Sometimes the power supply can fail, leading to these kinds of issues.

I checked that and it isn’t working. I even touched the power pins to see if the power button is broken.

If that's the case, it might be time to replace the power supply unit altogether. I know it can be a hassle, but you've got to do what you've got to do. I feel you; this is the second time something like this has happened to me.
