I recently gave my keyboard a thorough cleaning with hot water, detergent, and bleach since it was pretty dirty. After drying it properly and reassembling everything, I've encountered a problem: the right Shift key seems to be stuck down and won't pop back up. I've spent an hour trying to fix it, but it keeps jamming and only lifts if I pull it up manually. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? Here's a [link to a quick video](https://youtube.com/shorts/Yctfy4yh0t0?feature=share) showing the issue.

It might help to pull the key back out and clean it again, making sure everything is completely dry. Sometimes the cleaner you used can make it sticky. Have you tried a contact cleaner? That could do the trick!
Honestly, if you can't seem to fix it, you might just want to leave it be. I rarely use the right Shift key myself.
I thought the same until it broke—now I find I actually rely on it more than I realized!

I used a brush for some dust, but then switched to a paper towel since it got messy. I also tried alcohol wipes, and while it’s still not popping up all the way, it does lift a bit now instead of being completely jammed.
