My Seagate Hard Drive Won’t Open—Any Fixes Without Data Loss?

I have a Seagate 1TB external hard drive that I've been using for about 5 years without issues. However, when I connected it to my PC today, it didn't open like it usually does. It shows up under connected devices but is labeled as \Seagate Portable SCSI Disk Device\ instead of the name I assigned it, and it doesn't show as a usable drive. I've tried a few troubleshooting steps like using different USB ports and cables, connecting it to another computer, checking for driver updates in Device Manager, and researching ways to 'initialize' it on YouTube, but I want to avoid data loss. The drive is recognized but won't open, and I can't access any of my files. Is there a way to fix this without wiping the drive?

You might want to check your Disk Manager. Sometimes it reveals details about the drive's status. It could show if the partition is lost or if it appears as RAW.

In Disk Manager, it shows up as Disk 1 Unknown and indicates it has 1863.02 GB unallocated.
