I've been having a problem with my Start menu since last night. Every time I try to open it, I get a message saying, "Critical Error: Your Start menu isn't working. We'll try to fix it the next time you sign in." I've restarted my computer multiple times and even tried restarting Windows Explorer, which just makes the popup go away without solving anything. A friend helped me run some commands in PowerShell to scan my computer and even reset it, but nothing has changed. I'm really at a loss here and could use some guidance! Just for context, this issue started after I visited a site mentioned in a Dougdoug video called "Thisisunsafe.xyz." Not my brightest moment, I know.

Running an antivirus scan along with Malwarebytes could also help. Ultimately, the best way to be sure you’ve gotten rid of any malware is to factory reset your computer and reinstall Windows. It's a hassle, but it works!
This might be a malware issue. Have you thought about restoring your Windows to an earlier Restore Point when everything was running fine? It can sometimes help fix these types of critical errors.

How do I do a factory reset and reinstall Windows? Will I just need to reinstall all my programs and sign in again after that?
