My Windows 11 Laptop Won’t Connect to the Internet, Help!

I'm having a frustrating issue with my Windows 11 laptop that I can't seem to fix. It says I'm connected to my WiFi ('connected, secure'), but I can't access the Internet—it just shows 'no internet' on the browser. My iPhone works just fine on the same network, so I know it's not a problem with the WiFi itself. Initially, I could access some networks but ran into trouble with those that needed a webpage sign-in. As time went on, I lost the ability to connect to any WiFi at all, but still managed to use my hotspot. Now, I'm facing the same issue with the hotspot; I connect but still see 'no internet.' I've been traveling, so I've tested this across various networks, ruling out my ISP as the problem.

I've done practically everything I found online, like setting WLAN to automatic, performing a full network reset, resetting DNS and IP through command prompts, and even reinstalling my WiFi driver. When I run the Windows troubleshooter, it says everything is fine. The only thing I'm hesitant about is manually transferring the manufacturer's driver from my phone, even though I have it downloaded. I'm avoiding a full reset because I don't want to reinstall all my apps, but I'll consider it if necessary.

I also think my efforts to fix the Microsoft connect test login page may have caused the problem to worsen. I started entering command prompts to flush the DNS. If anyone has advice or needs more info/screenshots, I'm all ears!

It sounds like you've tried a lot already, but a clean install of the drivers might just do the trick. Go to Device Manager, uninstall the WiFi drivers, and then restart your laptop. Windows should recognize the hardware and install fresh drivers for you. After the reboot, check for updates in the Device Manager again to see if you can get the latest drivers installed. Good luck!

I actually tried this multiple times and it didn't help. I'm kinda at my wits' end here!

Same here! I've done the uninstall and restart step way too often. Did you have any luck after that?
