Navigating My Programming Journey: Seeking Advice

I've been really passionate about programming, and I'd like some honest advice about my future in this field. I have a few specific questions: Am I genuinely talented at programming, and what characteristics define talented young programmers? How can I seize opportunities to advance my career? What changes can I make to pursue programming professionally while continuing to grow? And lastly, is the math involved in programming different from what we learn in math courses?

I strongly believe I have potential; I quickly spot errors in code and can come up with efficient solutions. However, I struggle with a few things. Math tends to overwhelm me, making it tough to stay motivated whenever it's involved. I also admit I can be a bit lazy and impatient, often skipping through lectures instead of fully engaging with the material. Lastly, I'm uncertain about how to turn my love for programming into a fulfilling career, as I often feel alone in my interests and anxious about showcasing my skills.

My journey started at age 10 with Scratch, where I created some fun games. Eventually, I moved to Python, but I found myself bored and returned to Scratch. I've worked on projects, including a game in my school's computer science class, but I want to know how to keep improving and make a real impact in programming.
