Need a New Motherboard After My Old One Died

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle. My budget motherboard, the MSI PRO B650-P WIFI, has kicked the bucket, and I need help finding a replacement. I got it as part of a bundle from Micro Center. I'm looking for something cost-effective that can support my 4080 Super and 9800X3D setup. My wife finally gave me the thumbs up for the new CPU, but now I need to convince her I also need a new motherboard. Any suggestions?

First, check if it's still under warranty! If you're getting the 9800X3D from Micro Center, they might have some good motherboard bundles going on too. Without specific requirements from you, it's tough to give exact recommendations, but just pick a board within your budget that offers the connectors you’ll need.

Great point! This is specifically for my VR gaming rig. The old mobo had two M2 slots and decent PCIe speed. I might be interested in WiFi 7 in the future for better latency when using Virtual Desktop, so that’s something to consider. Unfortunately, I already bought the CPU, so bundles won’t help me this time.
