I'm facing a dilemma as my EVGA 750 G3 power supply has failed, and I need to find a replacement that can support my configuration. I previously used this PSU to power 15 HDDs, utilizing splitters along with 3 SATA power cables without any issues. However, I'm struggling to find new PSUs since most seem to come with just 2 SATA cables, even if they can support more connections. I've heard that using Molex cables instead could potentially damage my drives, so I'm looking for a safe workaround. My setup includes a Rosewill L4500 case filled with WD Red HDDs and an ASRock x399 Taichi motherboard. I had considered an MSI A850GL GCIE5 power supply but realized it only has 2 SATA cables. I haven't returned it yet, but I suspect I need a different PSU altogether. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This setup looks like it’s meant for a server. I suggest investing in a more reliable power supply. Seasonic is a solid brand, and I would recommend a 1200W PSU. If you need to use a splitter, keep it to just one, but search for a PSU that has at least 12 SATA connectors—or more if possible.
Good choice! Seasonic is well-known for their reliability.
I'd recommend grabbing something like this power supply. It has 3 cables with 4 connectors each. You might be able to get away with a good quality splitter if necessary. Also, the 1050W version comes with 3 cables too if you're looking to save some money.
I've dealt with many builds, and I’ve had to steer clear of EVGA PSUs because of their high failure rate. I know a lot of people love them, but personally, I wouldn’t trust it anymore.
Check out this list of power supplies; there are options here that have at least 15 SATA connections. You'll definitely find something that fits your needs! [Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/products/power-supply/#D=15,20&sort=price&page=1)

Took your advice and just ordered a Seasonic VERTEX GX-1200 - 1200W - 80+ Gold. Thanks for the recommendation!
