Hey everyone! I'm a console gamer who's finally ready to dive into the world of PC gaming. My budget is $1000, and I could really use some guidance on what to look for or where to start. Should I build it myself, or go for a pre-built system? Any recommendations are welcome, thanks!

I’d suggest building it yourself! You’ll get much better performance for your budget, and you can avoid the problems that come with pre-built systems. Plus, it's pretty straightforward—just watch a few tutorials and you'll be ready to go!

It’s definitely possible to build a solid PC on that budget. Just make sure to account for whether that $1000 includes extras like a monitor or peripherals. If you're focused on just the tower, you can get some great parts for gaming!

Are you leaning towards building or buying? If you’re open to both, I’d really recommend DIY—it can be a fun challenge! But if you're not feeling up to it, there are decent pre-builds too around your budget.
