Need Advice on Extending WiFi Signal with Meraki Access Points

I'm currently using a 1GB fiber connection from Beanfield with a SonicWall TZ270 for broadcasting WiFi. Unfortunately, I'm only getting around 180MB/s download speeds at best. I temporarily tried a TP-Link AX3000 extender, and that improved my speeds to around 300-400MB/s. I'm considering switching to Cisco Meraki MR 36 Access Points I have on hand. Can I extend the WiFi signal using these without needing to set up a secondary broadcast from the SonicWall? Will they provide better download and upload speeds? I've never configured Meraki devices before, but I'm willing to read the manual. Are they tough to set up? I can handle the cabling and POE adapters if needed. Thanks in advance!

Setting up Meraki is usually straightforward, but keep in mind that they are cloud-managed, so you’ll need a subscription unless you can flash them with different firmware. Without that, they might not be very useful for you.

I didn't realize they required a subscription either. That's kind of a bummer. Maybe check out Ubiquiti? They have some solid options if you're looking to switch.
