Need Advice on My Coding Journey and Future Career

Hey everyone! I'm approaching Year 12 (Junior Year) and I could really use some advice on my coding journey. I'm passionate about coding and planning to take it for my A-Levels (ages 16-18 in the UK). My dream is to start a company that uses an AI algorithm to serve as an ethical hacker, identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in security databases, like those of banks. However, I'm feeling a bit lost on how to get there, especially as a high schooler with only two years of basic Python experience from my GCSEs. I've heard a lot from various sources on YouTube about what to focus on as a beginner, like learning HTML, CSS, and Java, versus jumping straight into backend work and data storage for AI algorithms. I'm looking for advice on how to improve my coding skills during high school, what kind of projects top universities value most, and what steps I should take to make my business dream a reality someday. Thanks for your help!

AI isn't quite ready to take over hacking. It needs human insight to really understand how to breach systems. So, while incorporating AI into security is great, you might want to focus on developing your critical thinking and problem-solving skills first.

I think it's important not to tie your early education solely to security. You'll explore many different areas and might find something even more interesting along the way. Also, while AI can help identify issues, you might want to consider that if it becomes common functionality, it might not be a solid foundation for a business on its own.
