Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and could really use your advice. Here's my build:
- ASRock B650M-H/M.2+
- Ryzen 5 7600x
- Arc B580
- Kingston Fury Beast 32GB 5600MHz
- Kingston NV3 M.2 1TB
- Corsair CX550
- Thermalright Assassin X120 R SE ARGB 120mm
I want to gaming at 1440p around 60fps. Is this setup going to work for that? I noticed the RX 9060 is about $170 more and I'm hesitant to invest that much. Also, I've heard 6000MHz RAM is better but I'm not sure if the 5600MHz I have is sufficient. Lastly, what about the power supply? I read that it's below the recommended wattage for my GPU, but some say the recommendations are conservative, so is 550W enough? And regarding cases, I've seen some come with fans while others don't. If I get a case that has fans, will they be enough? Thanks for any insights!

Based on benchmarks, your build might struggle to hit 60 fps in some games, especially titles like FF14 where it can dip below 30 fps. The Arc B580 isn’t really designed for 1440p gaming; for that, you might want to consider the RX 9060. It's a bit more expensive, but it could really improve your performance for WQHD gaming.

I didn’t realize that! I saw some good performance on YouTube, but it sounds like the 9060 is the way to go. I’ll think about it, thanks for the heads up!
