Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and my friend helped me select the parts because I honestly didn't know much about it. I've already ordered everything, but I didn't think to ask for advice here before making my decisions. One specific concern I have is about the motherboard. I've read that some reviews suggest the Asus PRIME B650-PLUS WIFI might struggle with modern games. Has anyone had experience with this motherboard, or can you recommend a different one that would be compatible? I'd really appreciate any suggestions, changes, or insights you might have regarding quality and reviews. Here's my build:

- **Case:** CORSAIR 3500X ARGB Mid-Tower ATX PC Case – Panoramic Tempered Glass – 3X CORSAIR RS120 ARGB Fans Included – White

I think you should be fine with the Asus PRIME B650-PLUS. Most AM5 motherboards are capable of handling modern games. The only hesitation I see in reviews is about inconsistent build quality. Just make sure you get one from a good batch, and it should perform well! If you're worried, there are tons of good alternatives like the ASUS ROG Strix or MSI motherboards that get solid reviews too. Just keep an eye out for compatibility with your components!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll consider looking into those alternatives.

Honestly, I'd recommend ditching the mechanical hard drive entirely. With how critical speed is for gaming, just go for SSDs. The Lexar you mentioned is great! Having multiple SSDs will make a noticeable difference in load times and overall system responsiveness.

Got it, I'll switch to all SSDs then. Maybe grab another Lexar to have enough storage!
