Hey everyone! I've spent the past week diving deep into PC building and put together a parts list on PC Part Picker. My budget is around $3,000, and I'm looking for your thoughts on my build. Do you think I'm overspending on any components? Here's the link to my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6LDXqH. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think the motherboard you chose is a bit pricey. Also, with the 5080 and a 9800x3d, a 750W power supply might be pushing it. I'd suggest getting an 850W to give yourself some breathing room.

How much should I aim for then? 850W sounds like a good idea!

The Arctic Freezer III Pro white version is a great cooler; it’s a newer release and priced at about $95. Just be careful with the white parts, as they can be more expensive, but everything looks good overall!

Seems like you might be overspending on color-specific components like those white parts. Make sure you balance aesthetics with your budget to avoid overspending too much!

Your build looks pretty solid for a first timer, especially since you want a white theme! However, I recommend bumping up to an 850W power supply or more to be safe. Better to have some headroom, right?

Thanks for the advice! I noticed the build shows around 600W, so I thought I was good. But I get that having extra power can help!
