Need Advice on RAM Options for My New CPU Build

I'm excited about getting a new CPU for Christmas, but I've realized that RAM prices are really putting a damper on my enthusiasm. I didn't follow PC building closely until recently, and now that I'm looking into getting a motherboard and RAM, I'm starting to feel overwhelmed by the costs. I'm eyeing a 6000MHz CL30 RAM kit that costs around £350, but I'm not sure if that's the best option. Is there a good price-to-performance RAM out there that won't completely empty my wallet? Since I'm in the UK and using a 9800X3D, should I prioritize speed or latency when choosing RAM?

You can find decent kits like the Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB 6000 CL36 for about £270, or a cheaper one at 5600 CL46 for £205. I’d suggest opting for the cheaper one since they're still reliable!

Thanks, this helps! How significant is the performance difference between CL36 and CL46?
