Hey everyone! I'm looking to completely upgrade my old PC, which is about 4 years old. I've done a bit of research and put together a parts list to build it myself and hopefully save some cash. Here's what I've got so far:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 5 9600X
- **GPU**: RX 9060 XT 8GB
- **Motherboard**: B850 Eagle WiFi6
- **RAM**: 2x16GB 5200MHz DDR5
- **Case**: Mid tower case
- **Power Supply**: 650W Bronze Certified
- **Storage**: 1TB SSD

I want a solid performing machine without going over my budget of £900 ($1200). I've heard mixed things about the RX 9060 XT, and I'm open to any suggestions for parts I should consider swapping out. Thanks for your help!

£900 is actually quite a healthy budget for a PC, just a heads up! You may want to reconsider the RX 9060 XT 8GB; it's a bit pricey for its performance level. I found the 16GB variant for $350 in Canada, which makes it a much better deal. Also, for your motherboard, consider getting a cheaper model if you’re aiming to save costs. What games are you planning to play on your new build?

I’m not too familiar with what to look for in motherboards. Right now I have a Ryzen 5 3600 with a 3060Ti, 16GB of RAM, and I'm just playing Marvel Rivals. I noticed it crashes often because of RAM issues, could that be related to my usage?

I recommend giving this build a look too:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 5 7500F
- **GPU**: RX 9060 XT 16GB
- **Motherboard**: MSI PRO B650M-B
- **RAM**: 32GB DDR5
- **Storage**: 1TB NVME SSD
- **Power Supply**: 750W Gold

This setup is around £858.96 and would run efficiently for gaming. The 16GB version of the GPU will definitely provide a better experience for the games you're playing, particularly at higher settings. You might find the Ryzen 5 7500F a little cheaper while still offering solid performance!

Thanks, I appreciate it! Why would you say the 16GB GPU version is better? Is it just for performance, or is there another reason?

For your budget, I'd suggest a different build that might give you better performance:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 5 7600X
- **GPU**: PowerColor Reaper RX 9060 XT 16GB
- **Motherboard**: MSI PRO B650-S WIFI
- **RAM**: 32GB DDR5-6000
- **Storage**: 1TB NVME SSD
- **Power Supply**: 750W Gold Certified

This configuration comes out to about £916.30, which is a bit over your budget but offers significantly better specs. The 8GB version of the 9060XT is fine for eSports at 1080p, but for games like Marvel Rivals, you might need more VRAM. Compare this with what you have and see if it makes sense!

Thanks for sending this! I’ll compare the builds and make some adjustments. I primarily play Marvel Rivals at 1080p but I’m unsure how much VRAM I need for that.
