Hey everyone! I'm super excited (and a bit nervous) to finally build my dream PC after saving up from my first job. Until now, I've only had a hand-me-down gaming laptop and a PS5. I managed to get my hands on an RTX 5080 Founders Edition at MSRP, which really kicked off this whole project. I've done quite a bit of research, but before I finalize everything, I'd love a sanity check to ensure I'm not overspending on anything and that I'm making smart choices.
I'm particularly uncertain about the motherboard; I'm considering two options that are similarly priced: the GIGABYTE B850 Aorus Elite Wifi7 DDR5 and the MSI Pro B850-P WiFi AM5 ATX.
Also, since I'm located outside the US, some popular components aren't available, and the prices vary from what's listed online.
**My goals:**
- **Primary Use Case:** Gaming (Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, Black Myth Wukong, Forza Horizon 5, etc.)
- **Target Resolution and Refresh Rate:** 4K @ 120Hz on an LG C4 42" TV.
Here's my current part list: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vvFPGJ)
Total Estimated Cost: $2339.95.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

You might be able to cut down costs a bit if you swap your case for the Phanteks XT Pro Ultra. I have it with the same CPU, and the airflow is excellent, plus it comes with 4 RGB fans which look fantastic with the Arctic Freezer III!
Your build looks solid! The Arctic cooler is a great choice, but if you're considering saving some cash, there are more affordable coolers out there. If you're open to air coolers, those tend to be much cheaper and can still perform well. Also, have a look at some B650 motherboards; they can save you money while still providing good performance. If an entry-level X870 motherboard fits your budget, I'd recommend that for future-proofing! Overall, though, your parts seem really good!
Thanks! I'll check out some cheaper air coolers, maybe something like the DeepCool AK620. As for the ASUS Prime x870p, is it worth the extra cost to upgrade?
I'll definitely look into that case! I picked the C5 mainly to avoid spending extra on fans, but the airflow does sound tempting.
