Need Help Activating Office for My Dad Without Interfering with Mum’s Account

I'm trying to figure out how to set up Microsoft Office for my dad without causing issues with my mum's work account. She's signed into Office for enterprise on their desktop and needs it for her job, while dad just needs Word and Excel for casual use. I attempted to use a method called mass grave for activation, but it affected mum's account, which is not ideal. I want a solution that keeps his Office separate from hers, does not involve virtualisation, and is straightforward for them. Any suggestions?

One option would be to install OnlyOffice for your dad and place the shortcuts right on the desktop. It’s a user-friendly alternative and won’t interfere with your mum’s Office.

If you're open to it, getting Microsoft 365 could be a good solution. It allows sharing with up to five people, so you could just add your dad without issue.

Have you thought about the online versions? They’re surprisingly good these days for basic tasks and might be all your dad needs!

Unfortunately, you really can't run two separate copies of Microsoft Office on the same machine without buying another license. However, if your dad only needs basic functions, you could consider using LibreOffice and setting it to save files in Microsoft formats. It's free and should do the trick for what he needs.
