I'm in the process of changing the thermal paste on my GPU and wanted to revisit the thermal paste I used on my CPU. My CPU temperatures are normal, but I'm contemplating whether I should redo it. I uploaded a picture for reference, but I'm curious if the amount of thermal paste I applied looks sufficient or if I should add more.

If your CPU temperatures are good, then you're probably in the clear! Basically, you only need to redo the thermal paste if it's not performing well anymore. For cheaper pastes, you can typically wait around 8-10 years before reapplying, so unless you're having issues, don't stress about it!
What you’ve got might work, but I'd recommend bumping that quantity up by at least three times! Especially considering that you have enough paste in the tube, don’t be shy! Cover the CPU all the way to the edges for optimal performance.
I’d say don’t hold back—put on a bit more thermal paste! It’s better to have a little extra in there for good coverage than to skimp out. Just remember, when you tighten down the cooler, it'll spread out nicely. Aim for a thin layer that covers the whole CPU die.

Totally agree! A thin, even film works best. You want something that will ensure full contact without going overboard. Just a bit more should do the trick!
