Need Help After Installing Arch Linux

I recently dual-booted Arch Linux on my computer, which is my first experience with a Linux distribution. I've reached the post-installation stage but have hit a roadblock. I followed a video tutorial by Denshi, and everything seemed fine until I attempted to install a GUI. I tried both Plasma and Hyprland, but encountered multiple errors stating 'failed retrieving file' while connected over WiFi. I suspect I need to reconnect, yet when I try using 'iwctl', I get a 'command not found' message. Any suggestions?

You might want to boot back into the installation ISO and use chroot, similar to your initial setup. This way, you can reinstall packages. I'd recommend installing 'networkmanager' for handling WiFi easily since it's quite user-friendly.

That sounds like a solid plan! I actually used networkmanager the first time, so I’ll give that another go.

It’s great that you’ve tackled the installation! I’d suggest checking the official Arch Wiki for guidance, as it’s super detailed and reliable. If Denshi’s video had it alongside, that’s a good start, but the wiki is the best resource. Also, whenever possible, try to install while connected with an ethernet cable to avoid WiFi-related issues. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check out the wiki more thoroughly.
