I'm looking for advice on assembling a gaming PC with a budget of 1.7k AUD, including a monitor. My goal is to achieve 240+ frames per second in Fortnite while also being able to stream. Is this feasible within my budget?

You can definitely put together a solid PC for around $1,527 that would handle gaming and streaming at high frame rates. Adding a 200Hz monitor for about $115 keeps you well within budget. Just a heads up, while a 1TB NVMe SSD is nice, it might be a bit tight for storage. If you're lucky enough to expand your budget slightly, consider upgrading to a NVIDIA 5070. It's a bit pricier, but it offers 12GB of VRAM and excellent streaming capabilities with improved encoder and decoder performance. Check out these deals:
- A 7500F PC without a GPU for $728
- A 9070 for $799
- An IPS 200Hz monitor for $115
I’m from NT, and I saw the deals too, but sadly they mentioned ‘excluding NT’. That’s a bummer!

I'd be surprised if anyone could beat this package, but maybe someone will try! If they can, it'll have to be a fellow Aussie who really knows how to save.
