Need Help Building a Gaming PC for My Brother

I'm in the process of building a gaming PC for my younger brother, who mainly plays titles like Overwatch and Fortnite, where graphics aren't a top priority. However, for myself, I want to run some AAA games such as Ghost of Tsushima, Cyberpunk 2077, and The Last of Us part II at high graphics settings and ideally at 4K resolution. Since I don't have any experience with computer building or gaming, I would appreciate some input on whether the part list I've compiled is sufficient to run these games smoothly at 60 fps or higher, and if the total cost I found is reasonable. I'm purchasing everything from iBUYPOWER where they'll assemble it for me. Here's my part list:

**Case**: Fractal Design Pop Air RGB Gaming Case - White ($105.00)
**Cooling**: CORSAIR Nautilus 240 RS ARGB 240mm Liquid Cooler - White ($99.00)
**Case Fans**: 3x [ARGB] iBUYPOWER GEN 9 Deluxe PWM 120mm White Fan Pack ($24.00)
**Video Card**: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti - 16GB GDDR7 ($499.00)
**Processor**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Processor ($369.00)
**Motherboard**: ASUS B650E MAX GAMING White ($169.00)
**Memory**: 32 GB [16 GB X2] DDR5-5200MHz Kingston Fury Beast ($159.00)
**Power Supply**: 750 Watt - CORSAIR RM750e ($109.00)
**Primary Storage**: 2TB Kingston NV3 M.2 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD ($115.00)
**Operating System**: Windows 11 Home ($139.00)

**Total price from iBUYPOWER including coupons: $1796.00**
**Price of total parts from PC Part Picker: $1829.00**

**Total budget: $2000**

Everything on your list looks solid for what you want to do! With what you've selected, you'll definitely be able to play Overwatch and Fortnite with no issues. Plus, you'll have some budget left for a decent mouse and keyboard, which you can usually get for under $150 combined. Just a heads up though, if you're planning on gaming at high settings for the latest AAA titles like Cyberpunk, you might want to keep an eye on cooling, especially if you’re playing for long sessions.

Just a tip about the GPU: the 5060 Ti is good for 1080p gaming at high settings, or 1440p at lower settings. If you're really aiming for 4K, you might want to consider upgrading to at least a 9070 XT or 5070 Ti for better performance. A lot of console games advertised as 4K are often upscaled from lower resolutions, so keep that in mind when choosing.

I watched some videos and honestly, I don't see that much difference for the extra cost, so I think I'll just stick with the 5060 Ti for 1080p.

Your RAM choice is a bit on the slower side for the price, and while $200 markup for warranty and assembly isn’t bad, the GPU might be a bit pricey too. Overall, your components are decent for gaming, but just know that some parts might be overpriced due to availability issues. If you could find a similar setup for around $1600, that would be a real win. Still, it’s a nice build with good potential!
