Hey everyone! I was lucky enough to get a 3080 FE as a gift and really want to build a PC around it. My budget is under $500, and I'm hoping to go with an AMD CPU. Any suggestions or builds that would work? Thanks in advance!

I put together a build that runs around $600 (not including the case), and honestly, for a GPU like the 3080, sticking to a $500 build means you'll have to make some serious compromises. By going a bit over that budget, you'll be using an AM5 socket which is more future-proof and allows for better upgrades down the line. Yeah, I feel the same way. I guess I’ll have to stretch my budget to at least $600.
Have you thought about going with a 12700k combo? It should work well and is really affordable too.
I’m really not looking to go Intel, though.
I was considering the 7700x instead of the 9600x, but this is a solid list!
