Need Help Building My New PC – Parts Don’t Fit!

Hey everyone! I just received all the parts for my new PC build today, but I'm running into some issues. My brother helped me check everything, and he mentioned that some of the parts aren't fitting together. Specifically, he mentioned the motherboard isn't aligning with the case and that there are some problems with the cooler's brackets. I'm not super familiar with this stuff, so I'm not sure what to do next. Should I consider switching out some parts for more compatible options? I also came across some YouTube tutorials that might help, but I'm not sure what to search for. Here's a list of the parts I bought from an Australian site called Umart: [PCPartPicker Part List]. My total came to about $3179.58 and I'm worried if I need to change parts, I'll have to go for cheaper alternatives since I've already exceeded my budget. Any advice?

Can you clarify what exactly isn't fitting? Also, pairing a Ryzen 7 7800 with an RTX 5070 seems like an odd move. If you're comfortable, I'd recommend exploring alternatives for the CPU, especially since you previously considered the 5070ti. You might want something more balance between the CPU and GPU.

Hey, I was tempted by the 5070ti too, but the price was just too high for me. Any specific suggestions on CPUs you think would work better?

Which parts are you having trouble with? It's worth noting you have two different RAM kits in your list. If you're experiencing compatibility issues, it's best to stick with one type of RAM—consider just using the 64GB kit since it seems to be the better option. Your motherboard and case alignment issue might also depend on the case model, so double-check that you're using the recommended parts for your specific case.

My brother mentioned something about the motherboard not fitting with the case regarding the chunky part with all the USB ports. Does that sound like a common issue?

Yes, that's exactly what he said! I just want to make sure I'm handling all of this correctly.
