Hey everyone! I just got an MSI RTX 5080 16G INSPIRE 3X OC Graphics card, and I'm on the hunt for a CPU that will work well with it. I'm not super knowledgeable about CPUs, so I'm hoping to get some solid recommendations. I plan to use this system for gaming and streaming simultaneously in the near future. What do you suggest?

For gaming-focused builds, I'd recommend either the 9800X3D or 7800X3D based on your budget. Both are solid choices, and either will perform really well with your setup.
I got a great deal on the I7-14600KF, and it's been working really well for me. It might not be the go-to for everyone, but it performs great for gaming!
If you just game, stick with the 9800X3D. However, if you plan on using any productivity apps too, then the 9950X3D is worth the investment. I’ve got mine paired with a 5080, and the performance is fantastic!
If you can stretch your budget a bit, the 9800X3D is the way to go. It's currently the best gaming CPU available and will easily handle gaming and streaming without a hitch. If you're looking to save some cash, the 7800X3D is also a fantastic option and just slightly less powerful.
Definitely go for the 9800X3D if you won't be doing anything too demanding. It's considered the top CPU for gaming right now.
