I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card to a GIGABYTE RX 9060 XT 16GB, but it seems like my current case just won't fit it. My PC was originally built by a friend before the pandemic, and I think the only thing changed since then was the processor. Here's my current setup:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
- RAM: 16GB DDR4
- Current Graphics Card: RX 5700 XT
- Motherboard: X570 Phantom Gaming 4 WiFi ax
I'm trying to find a new case that will accommodate my new graphics card before I take everything to a shop for the upgrade. Any recommendations? This is my first upgrade in years, and I really want to make sure I get it right!

What model case do you currently have that doesn’t fit? Most RX 9060 XT s are on the smaller side by modern standards. If it genuinely doesn’t fit, I recommend checking out the Phanteks XT PRO ATX Mid Tower Case—it's priced around $49.99 and should be spacious enough.
Are you absolutely sure it won't fit? Sometimes you can create extra space by removing drive bays for 3.5" drives. If that’s not an option for you, it might just be better to invest in a new case since you mentioned wanting to spend while you can during these times!
You can try using the PCPartPicker website to see if the case you want will fit. It's super handy for checking compatibility! Just input all your components, and it will let you know.

Yeah, I don't really have the tools or skills to make those adjustments, so I'd rather just buy a new case. With everything going on, I want to make sure this upgrade goes smoothly!
