Hey everyone, I'm really struggling to choose a case for my build. I'm considering the Fractal North, but I've read some complaints about it being noisy, and that's got me worried. If I swap out the front fans for Noctua ones, will that help with the sound? Or could the case just be flawed?
I also looked at the Meshify 3, which has great reviews, but it's lacking a dust filter, so I think that's a no-go. The Phanteks XT Pro was on my list too, but I'm not a fan of RGB, and the non-RGB version won't be available until October from my go-to store.
Additionally, I'm curious if these cases have enough room for my ASUS 5070 Ti GPU. I'm not really clear on the differences between the TUF and Strix versions, either. I feel completely lost when it comes to selecting a case since initially, I thought it was just about how it looks, but now I realize sound and airflow are big factors too.
Also, does the Fractal North provide any GPU support like built-in brackets?

The Meshify 3 is a solid choice for airflow and cooling, but yeah, having no dust filter can be a hassle. If you're leaning away from RGB, I get that - some people just like a cleaner look. For the ASUS cards, the TUF is more durable for gaming while the Strix is often favored for its better cooling, but both are excellent. As for GPU support in the Fractal North, it typically includes some brackets, but you might want to double-check the specifics. Good luck with your build!
Honestly, every case has its critics, but the Fractal North seems to have a few consistent complaints about noise. Swapping the fans could definitely help! Noctua fans are known for being quieter, so that might be a good fix. As for fitting your ASUS 5070 Ti, just double-check the dimensions, but most mid-towers should handle it. It can feel overwhelming to choose a case, especially with all the factors like sound and airflow, but just take your time and prioritize what you care about most.
