Need Help Choosing Between These GPUs for My First PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first PC and I need some guidance on which GPU to choose. I've narrowed it down to three options:

1. PNY RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (dual-fan, likely non-OC) priced at $465
2. XFX "Swift" 9060 XT 16GB OC (triple-fan) for $437
3. Zotac Gaming RTX 5070 Twin Edge OC 12GB for $555

I'm trying to keep the build budget-friendly, so there's a significant price difference with the 5070. I've noticed some complaints about its VRAM though. By the way, please don't suggest a 9070 XT since it's going for $700 here and that's not feasible for me.

Also, I'm curious about whether I should opt for a 1080p or 1440p monitor based on these GPU choices. I'll primarily be using this setup for gaming and work, not for AI or 3D rendering tasks. I'm considering CPUs like the 7600x or 9600x. Sorry if this seems basic; I'm new to this and looking forward to your thoughts!

If it's purely for gaming, I'd suggest the XFX 9060 XT as your best bet. It offers great value. Regarding the 9070 non-XT, I checked, and it’s around $670 here, which is a bit high compared to the 5070. Just keep in mind that the 9060 XT should serve you well!

Out of your options, I'd recommend the XFX "Swift" 9060 XT. It balances price and cooling well. If you can swing it, the Zotac RTX 5070 will perform better for 1440p gaming, but either the 5060 Ti or 9060 XT should handle 1080p perfectly fine. Good luck with the build!

I'd personally go with the RTX 5070 if you have the budget. It runs well at 1440p. But, weirdly enough, I suggest sticking to 1080p for your games due to how poorly optimized many of them are right now. It helps avoid any potential VRAM issues, especially if you’re not using max settings with ray tracing. Just my two cents!
