I'm putting together my first PC build in over ten years, and I'm amazed at how much things have changed! Right now, I'm stuck choosing between two graphics cards: the PNY GTX5080 OC or the Asus GTX570ti TUF, both priced at $999.99. I plan to play Battlefield 6 mainly, along with some popular single-player titles from last year. No plans for any productivity or AI tasks. Since I won't be upgrading for a long time, I'm torn. The Asus card seems to have better build quality, noise control, and heat management, while the PNY card has higher performance and decent reviews despite some complaints about fan noise. I'd love some advice to help me make a decision—I'm leaning towards the PNY. Thanks in advance!

I'd definitely go for the 5080! Just a heads-up, though, they don't actually make GTX cards anymore, so that's something to consider. Though you're choosing between these two, the 5080 is probably the better option overall.
The 5080 is the way to go! I've heard some complaints about noise from the PNY, though. If you're really focused on performance, it's worth it. But honestly, if you're comparing prices, why not look at the 5070 ti? It could potentially save you some cash.
Good point! I actually started with the 5070 ti but saw the TUF for the same price and didn’t check back on the lower-priced options. In the end, I went for the 5080 anyway. Thanks!

Doh… you’re right! Totally slipped my mind.
