Hey everyone! I'm about to build my first PC after using a gaming laptop for a while. I've got a good idea of the specs I want, but I'm really unsure about which brands to trust for each component like RAM, PSU, motherboard, CPU cooler, monitor, and keyboard.

Here's what I'm looking to build:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D or 9800X3D (price difference is minimal)
- GPU: 5060 Ti (16GB VRAM)
- RAM: 32GB
- PSU: 850W
- Motherboard: AM5 B650 or B850
- I've already got a Samsung 980 EVO SSD.

For the monitor and keyboard, I'm not sure what features to focus on yet, but I'd love a 144Hz monitor. By the way, I'm based in the EU.

I'd steer clear of ASRock’s 800 series motherboards; they have issues with the newer 9000 series CPUs, especially the X3D ones. For the motherboard, I'd recommend looking for something that meets your needs without going for the cheapest option—something like the Gigabyte B850 Gaming X is a solid pick here in the US.

For the PSU, the Montech II 850W is great value too!

For RAM, keep an eye out for good deals. The Kingston Fury Beast 6400CL32 is a great option for 32GB, although you might need to tweak a couple of settings for optimal performance with the 9000 series CPUs—RAM compatibility has improved a lot recently.

As for the monitor, I'd suggest going for a 1440p IPS panel with at least 160Hz refresh rate. There’s a ROG model that's well-rounded and currently priced nicely over here.

Definitely check out PCPartPicker. They have great insights on which parts work well together and often show you good deals.
