I'm in the process of helping my brother with a PC build for work, and it's my first time diving into Intel hardware. He needs something that can handle at least 20 threads since his programs are pretty intensive. I want to know if my choices are good enough or if I can do better. We haven't decided on a case yet, and I'd appreciate any tips on what else to consider. Have you looked into the Core Ultra series? They're great options for performance. Just remember that you need faster RAM—aim for at least 7200MHz for best results!
For a build like this, I recommend a minimum 1000W PSU. You didn't mention a cooler either, but with the i7, a 240mm AIO cooler would be a great addition. Since you’re looking for something budget-friendly, consider other motherboard brands like Asrock or MSI—they often have great features for a better price compared to Asus.
