I'm looking to buy my first gaming PC and have a maximum budget of $1000. Instead of getting a new one, I'm thinking about purchasing a used PC from Facebook Marketplace since building one myself is beyond my skills. I mainly want to play games like Rocket League, Fortnite, and Valorant smoothly without lag, ideally at good settings.
I've found two potential options:
**PC 1** - Price: 950 AUD
- **CPU**: Intel Core i5-12400F (6 Cores / 12 Threads)
- **GPU**: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Windforce OC (8GB GDDR6)
- **RAM**: 16GB DDR4-3200
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte H610M S2H V2 DDR4
- **Storage**: 1TB NVMe SSD
- **OS**: Windows 11 Pro installed
**PC 2** - Price: 849 AUD
- **GPU**: Gigabyte Windforce 3x RTX 3060 Ti (8GB)
- **CPU**: Ryzen 5 3600 (6 Cores / 12 Threads)
- **Cooler**: Thermalright 120 R SE White
- **Motherboard**: Onda B450S+
- **RAM**: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200MT/s
- **Storage**: 512GB SATA SSD + 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD
- **PSU**: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze
- **Case**: Silverstone RGB Case
These aren't my final choices; I've only been looking for about an hour or two. Any feedback on which option might be better would be appreciated! Additionally, if I decide to buy a used PC, what should I do to test it in person to ensure everything works correctly? Thanks!

I'd recommend going for the first PC. It has a better GPU, which is crucial for gaming performance. When you go to pick it up, make sure to run Cinebench and FurMark to benchmark the CPU and GPU. Check their temperatures using HWInfo64 while running the tests to make sure they're within safe limits. If the scores look good compared to online benchmarks, you should be in the clear!

Do those benchmarking programs need to be installed on the PC before I get there? Plus, do you think this is a solid deal, or is there a chance I could find something better?
