Need Help Choosing Parts for My New PC Build

I just scored a great deal on an EVGA FTW3 RTX 3070 Ti along with a Kraken NZXT Z73 cooler. It's been almost 18 years since I built my last PC back in middle school, so I'm a bit out of the loop with all the new tech. I'm trying to figure out the best components to pair with my GPU, especially focusing on a motherboard that will support future GPU upgrades without needing to replace it. I plan to use this setup mainly for gaming and some 3D rendering using Chief Architect for work. I'm looking for hardware recommendations and any good resources to educate myself before making any purchases since I want to ensure I make the right choices this time around.

An ideal choice would be any B850 motherboard paired with a Ryzen 7000 or 9000 series CPU. That combo will keep your options open for upgrades down the line!

Thanks for the suggestion!

What's your budget for this build? If you're leaning towards AM5, keep in mind you'll also need DDR5 memory along with the CPU and motherboard. Just something to consider!

If I can keep the motherboard and CPU under $500, that would be great. I'm open to spending a bit more if it means better performance or upgrade potential.
