Need Help Choosing the Right Graphics Card

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on graphics cards because I'm a bit out of my depth here. I want to build a PC that can handle the latest AAA games with decent graphics and frame rates, but I also enjoy playing strategy and indie games. I've seen a few budget graphics cards recommended, specifically the RTX 4060, RTX 5060, RX 9060 XT, and Intel Arc B570. Can anyone break down which one would be the best choice for my needs, and what the pros and cons of each are? Thanks a ton!

What resolution are you planning to game at? If you're aiming for the cheapest option, the RX 9060 XT is still a strong candidate. Just keep your expectations in check if you want to push higher resolutions.

I think 1080p will be enough for me!

For GPUs over $300, 12GB of VRAM is the minimum; that leaves the 4060 and 5060 out of the running. The RX 9060 XT with 16GB is much faster than the Intel Arc options, which you should only consider if they're significantly cheaper.

The RX 9060 XT is a fantastic choice for your budget. It's currently one of the best bang-for-your-buck options available and handles games beautifully at both 1080p and 1440p resolutions. You'll have no trouble playing just about any game with it!

Just make sure to get the 16 GB version for the best performance!

Awesome, thanks for the tip!

Honestly, if you're going strictly for gaming, I'd lean towards AMD. The performance for the price is excellent, and the RX 9060 XT should serve you well, especially if you stick to 1080p or even 1440p for most titles.

Thanks for clearing that up! Really hard to find straightforward info on GPUs sometimes.
