Hey everyone! I'm excited to build a new PC and I'm trying to stick to a budget of $1,000 to $1,500. A couple of my friends just got the 4060 cards, but I feel like there might be better options out there. I heard the new 5060 just came out, but are scalpers snatching those up? I'm also wondering if I should prioritize VRAM. If anyone has recommendations for reliable graphics cards that can handle new games on high to ultra settings, I'd really appreciate it! I'm not biased towards NVIDIA, but any thoughts on whether I should avoid AMD would be great.

The new AMD 9000 series is a solid choice, especially if you're interested in ray tracing and upscaling. The 9060XT with 16GB is really impressive for its price and performance.
For your budget, check out the 9060XT if you're trying to keep it around $350. If you can stretch to $1.5k, look at the 5070 or 9070 models which are around $550 to $700, and offer great performance for gaming at higher resolutions with high refresh rates.
Make sure you think about the resolution you'll be gaming at. That'll help narrow down the right card. What games are you planning to play? Knowing your monitor specs is key too, especially since you're starting fresh with a build!
If you’re near a Microcenter, they often have bundles that can help cut costs, so it's worth checking out!
